A few tips about the cup chain  I have used.
I use exclusively Swaravski Elements cup chain. In the sample I used PP28 size in silver with clear crystals.
The pattern says to use PP32, this would mean a small adjustemnt to the design, you may need to add a size 11 or size 15 seed bead to each side of the bicone crystal when joining.
For PP28 cup chain, it measures about 5 cups to the inch when stretched open.
The important thing when finding the rigtht size of cup chain is that you can hold a line of 3 size 15 seed beads between the cups. A size smaller that PP28 will not work.
